Back to Blogging | Decisions Decisions

Hello everyone!

After attempting and failing to blog consistently over the past few years, I decided that (third time lucky) now was the time to actually do it properly.

With big decisions such as uni/gap year/work fast approaching, only recently had it begun to dawn on me just how clueless I was about life after sixth form. Relatives would bring up the all too familiar questions 'So, what do you want to be when you grow up?' 'What do you want to study?' and my rather vague response would be 'Oh something English based...I think'. Like many other A-Level students, this 'not-knowing' makes it even harder to focus on school work and so I decided that I needed to really start thinking about life after sixth form.
During my research into potential university courses, I came across this video...

...and it really got me thinking about how much I love writing. I'd never really considered writing as a career before and I'd also never realised the colossal range of jobs associated with it.
So, next time you're faced with the dreaded 'What are you going to be?' questions, simply think of it as this question instead...

"What would you like to do if money were no object?"
